We are looking for a (Senior) Business Development Manager to join our Corporate Partnership Team within DMEC!

About the Role

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the Corporate Partnership team and collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with DMEC's goals and informed by industry insights.
  • Partnership Building: Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key partners and stakeholders within the offshore renewable energy sector, leveraging DMEC’s non-profit status to create mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Sales Management: Build, manage, and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring sustained growth and partner satisfaction within the CPP. Oversee account management and represent DMEC at conferences and industry events to foster relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Optional - Acceleration: Provide strategic support to start-ups and scale-ups, guiding them through their customer journey, business plan development, and investment readiness, further enriching the ecosystem.

About you

  • Industry Expertise: Proven track record in the offshore industry, ideally with a focus on renewable energy (solutions). Experience with power-to-x and green hydrogen markets is a significant advantage.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to make high-impact strategic decisions and manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Networking: Strong, established relationships with project developers, supply chain companies, and key stakeholders within the offshore renewable energy sector.
  • Organizational Skills: Superior planning and organizing capabilities, with a talent for managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated with a proven track record of driving business growth, forming successful partnerships, and contributing to organizational development.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outgoing, hands-on, curious, and a natural team player with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual: Proficiency in Dutch and English is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages across diverse contexts.
